They say second albums are notoriously difficult, and they’re not wrong! With Shadows in the Shade, we’ve built on the successes of our first album, More Than You Take, and we think you’ll very much enjoy the range of these new songs, which still have the melodies and harmonies you’d expect from us, but also plumb new depths of instrumentation and themes which we’re very excited about. The songs share common themes of vision and light, and so we liked the idea of calling the album ‘Shadows in the Shade’ which is a lyric taken from the song ‘All Over Now’ which features on this album.
